The Meeting with the representatives of Fulbright scientific exchange program in Ukraine, which was attended by the cadets and the teachers was held at Odessa National Maritime Academy on 11 March, 2015.
The Fulbright Program announces the following competitions:
For senior students and graduates:
Fulbright Graduate Student Program: university studying from one to two years for a Master's degree. Senior students and graduates, postgraduates can take part in the competition. Applications are accepted until May 16, 2015.For young teachers and researchers:
Fulbright Faculty Development Program: carrying out of research at US universities from 6 to 9 months. The candidates for participation in the program are the following: teachers and researchers under 40 years with a two-year professional experience having no academic degree and young candidates of sciences (within 3 years after their defence). Applications are accepted until November 1, 2015
For Candidates and Doctors of Sciences, researchers and postgraduates the day before defence:
Fulbright Scholar Program: carrying out of research at US universities from 4 to 9 months. The program is open to candidates and Doctors of Sciences; cultural workers, specialists in library science, journalists and lawyers; researchers holding no academic degree with a five-year work experience, postgraduates or applicants, who receive academic degree until September 2015. Applications are accepted until October 15, 2015.
The Fulbright Program operates in over 155 countries worldwide. Graduates of the Fulbright Program established the Ukrainian society, which conducts annual conferences, thematic seminars and round tables, informational meetings, etc. in 1999. The program may cover the costs of the organization of scientific events and participation in the international scientific conferences, as well as support for the publication of scientific papers.
